Our group research interests are focused on multiphysics mechanics of materials and ITS-driven extreme design and nanomanufacturing of functional materials, structures and devices for applications in wearable electronics and healthcare, including printing and transfer in liquid, solid-liquid functionalized materials, and soft-hard material integration.
We also are working on nanomechanics at extreme conditions, including mechanics of solid-liquid interactions in nanoconfinements, nanofluidics in response to environments, and thermal transport of mechanically deformed nanomaterials.
Integration of experimental, theoretical and computational efforts has been employed to achieve these goals and explore underpinning mechanisms of mechanics, design, and nanomanufacturing.
